Trakia university – Stara Zagora

The latest institutional accreditation of TrU is with a rating of 9.20 by NAOA, on the basis of which it trains students in EQD “Bachelor”, “Master” and EQD”Doctor”. Within the the organisation of the University there are 9 structural units, one of which is the Faculty of Economics. TrU has its own modern training base, including 20 educational buildings with lecture and computer rooms, rooms for seminars and practical exercises, specialized offices, language laboratories. It has 44 research, teaching and diagnostic laboratories in the relevant scientific fields. TrU also has an active policy in the field of international cooperation through the development and implementation of joint projects under the Erasmus, Comenius, Lifelong Learning, 7th Framework Program, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe programs, etc. The academic staff works hard on educational and scientific programs, as well as on programs for bilateral cooperation with partner universities and scientific organizations from the USA, Russia, Japan, India, China, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Germany. Currently, the university has won projects under the OP “Development of Human Resources”; “Regional Development”; Rural Development Program; “Innovation and Competitiveness 2014-2020”, etc. The university is a member of the European University Association (EUA) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). More than 60 contracts have been concluded with foreign universities. The extended ERASMUS University Charter allows TrU to apply for funding under various grant schemes.
